A Single Feather Yarn Lei is made using two skeins of yarn and one straw. A Double Feather Yarn Lei is one lei made using two skeins of yarn and two straws at the same time, which takes more time and strategy, creating a thicker, fuller, and rounder lei. “Double” describes the thickness—not the number of lei. A customer can choose two different colors to make one lei.  Customers who want two separate single lei should order a quantity of two. The Double Lei Poʻo is made the same way, using two skeins to create one extra-thick head lei.

Because each piece is handmade, slight variations make every lei unique.
